Trailer

Description
Kojo is a rage platformer set in a dystopian, neo-Tokyo-inspired city where the player plants seeds of warmth in a cold, dark environment. Developed by a team of three in just two weeks, Kojo challenges players with punishing platforming mechanics and immersive environmental storytelling. The player’s journey is highlighted by a continuous shot through a cold, visually stark world, where gameplay and narrative are intertwined through contrasting tones and subtle environmental cues.
Platforming Gameplay
Kojo implements basic platforming gameplay, driven by Unity's rigidbody system.

Seamless Level Design
The game consists of multiple mini-levels, each of them tied via a seamless camera movement. I also designed alternate lighting and VFX scenarios that are triggered before and after level completion, supporting the contrast between the dystopian setting and the warmth of nature. Below is a video demonstrating these features, as well as the visual design process I led to iterate upon my greybox level design.
